În 2007, ALVIN ŞI VEVERIŢELE, un fenomen global pentru generaţii de
fani, a devenit un film eveniment de animaţie generată pe calculator,
cu o sensibilitate comică contemporană. În blockbusterul de sărbători,
cu încasări de peste 350 de milioane de dolari în întreaga lume,
compozitorul Dave Seville a transformat veveriţele Alvin, Simon şi
Theodore în senzaţii pop, în timp ce trioul scăpat de sub control îi
distrug casa, îi declanşează un adevărat haos în carieră şi îi dau
peste cap viaţa cândva liniştită.

Cât ai zice
"Alvinnnnn!", a început să se vorbească de un nou film ALVIN ŞI
VEVERIŢELE. Nemulţumite de a rămâne doar cu laurii primei producţii,
veveriţele mai pregătesc una. Urmări grozave, au existat multe.
Ante-urmări grozave, au existat multe. Însă de ce urmează acum, n-aţi
mai avut parte! În premieră mondială, Alvin, Simon şi Theodore îşi
întâlnesc, în sfârşit, naşul - şi poate chiar mai mult de-atât - în
trioul feminin "The Chipettes".
"Alvin şi veveriţele" au creat
haos în viaţa lui Dave Seville - spre deliciul publicului din întreaga
lume - timp de peste 50 de ani. Din momentul în care au prins viaţă cu
hitul lor de Crăciun "Cântecul veveriţelor", creaţia muzicală a
cântăreţului/compozitor Ross Bagdasarian, seniorul, ritmul captivant al
veveriţelor a devenit cunoscut de toţi iubitorii muzicii pop, tineri şi
bătrâni. Pentru marele debut pe marele ecran din 2007, "Alvin şi
veveriţele", veveriţele au avut parte de îmbunătăţiri stilistice şi de
atitudine importante. Cu o latură contemporană şi atitudine, au devenit
mai mult decât veveriţele lu' tata.
Luând cu asalt Hollywoodul -
şi lumea - în 2007, veveriţele şi realizatorii au fost dornici să
producă o continuare şi mai ambiţioasă şi mai antrenantă pentru marele
ecran.
Mulţi din cei din distribuţia originală din 2007 şi din
realizatori revin pentru această continuare, inclusiv producătorii
(precum şi vocile veveriţelor din ultimii 30 de ani) Ross Bagdasarian
şi Janice Karman, producătorii executivi Karen Rosenfelt, Arnon Michele
Imperato Stabile şi Steve Waterman, actorii Jason Lee şi David Cross şi
actorii talentaţi care au dat voce personajelor, Justin Long, Matthew
Gray Gubler şi Jesse McCartney. Noi în a doua parte sunt regizoarea
Betty Thomas, una dintre cele mai bune realizatoare de comedii ("The
Brady Bunch Movie", "Doctor Dolittle", "Private Parts"), actorul
Zachary Levi ( "Chuck" de la TV) şi vocile grupului The Chipettes, Amy
Poehler, Anna Faris şi Christina Applegate. Cuprinse aici sunt
impresiile lor despre fenomenul veveriţelor şi realizarea filmului
ALVIN ŞI VEVERIŢELE 2.
